Principal Planning Officer
Greater London
£45-£52 per hour
 
I am working closely with my LPA client in London and assisting in their recruitment for a Principal Planning Officer on an initial 3-month contract.
 
The council are looking for candidates with a broad range of experience, especially that of dealing with complex cases and majors (most likely up to 50 units).
 
They require someone capable of supervising and mentoring junior staff, with delegated sign off ability/capability to deal with CLP/CLE and prior approvals.
 
It is important for the candidate to also have experience of writing and presenting applications for planning committees. 
 
The council are looking for someone to be in place from 1st August 2022.
