Planning Officer

£23-£30 p/h DOE
3-month initial contract
 
I am working closely with my LPA client in London and assisting in their recruitment for a temporary Planning Officer.
 
A departure within the team has opened up a position for a Development Management Planning Officer, all experience levels considered, to join and ensure sufficient capacity across the department. Recent experience in the same role within a LPA is preferred but not mandatory. The LPA are happy to consider recent graduates with some experience.
 
Caseload of predominantly small-scale residential applications, with some minors.
 
You must be comfortable carrying out site visits and writing reports. Site visits are likely to be required once every week, although you can attend the office and carry site visits out as often as you like / see fit.

It would be beneficial to have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
