Role: Planner - Utilities
Location: Reading - Home Based
Rate: £10.68 per hour PAYE
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months +
 
My client is looking for a Planner to join their busy team in Reading, the candidate must understand the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA).
The role will be home based initially whilst guidelines are in place after which you will be based in their Reading office
 
Responsibilities include:
·Plan and schedule works to ensure that requirements and resources are identified to complete the work in accordance with business and customer need ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
·Analysis of work requirements against criteria in order to effectively delegate resources making the correct decision for the organisation and customer.
·Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that work requirements are understood, accurate and fully documented.
·Planning and scheduling works using various management information systems.
·Produce clear and concise work instructions to ensure that work requirements are fully understood.
·Case management of customer queries ensuring resolution and appropriate escalation if required.
·Compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, procedures and standards
 
Skills and Experience:
·Knowledge of NRSWA
·Understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
·Experience with Microsoft Office.
