Principal Town Planning Officer
Hybrid Working
up to £50,000 p/a
 
Carrington West are assisting their client in their search for a Principal Town Planner on a permanent basis.
 
We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing planning consultancy and the role is open to candidates from both the private and the public sector.
 
You will need:
A minimum of 4 years' experience.
Membership of RTPI
Ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK.
Experience managing or mentoring junior colleagues.

You will be working closely with the directors supporting them with appeals,  preparing a variety of applications for planning consent, prior approval, lawful development certificates and reserved matters approval. Supporting large scale major planning applications through the decision-making and post-decision processes.
 
The company are offering a completely flexible working arrangement which can be discussed in the interview.   
 
Experience in a planning consultancy or local authority is a must. Please note that applications won't be considered without the criteria being met.
