My client is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager within Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have proven experience in the Telecoms sector and previously worked on large projects. Your main responsibility will be to manage the contract whilst providing leadership for the operational and planning function of the business. You will ensure that commercial and operational delivery targets are met, resources are managed and monitored accordingly.  
 
You will be responsible for the following:
 
·Providing leadership to the delivery team and ensure contract targets are delivered and met.
·Overlook and mange direct staff and sub contractors
·Support to the Operations Director in all areas of the contract as and when required.
·Ensure that all HESQ procedures are adhered to
·Ensure that all employee relations issues on the contract are managed efficiently
·Have a complete understanding on the financial status of the area of responsibility
 
You should have the following experience:
 
·Experience within the Fibre Telecoms Delivery industry (Essential)
·Understanding of building new fibre infrastructure and associated network builds
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
·Experience of managing high performing teams, across business-critical contracts
