Job description
Do you have overhead line equipment allocation/lineside civil design experience?
Do you have an engineering degree with skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation?
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: Nottinghamshire, hybrid/remote working
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 2 years in Overhead Line Equipment (OLE/OHLE) allocation/lineside civils design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Experience creating layout plans and plotting structural locations for overhead line equipment/components along railway lines.
- Determining optimal locations for support structures such as masts and gantries based on various factors like ground conditions, clearance requirements, and existing infrastructure.
- Ensuring that the placement of OLE equipment does not interfere with other railway operations or infrastructure.
- Collaborating with CAD technicians to ensure accurate placement and structural plotting based on existing drawings.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Additional Information:
- My client is a well-established company experiencing an increase in project work, necessitating the expansion of their design team. This role would ideally be 2 days in the office per week, however this can be more flexible/remote depending on your location.
- The interview process will be one-stage and in person.
