I'm currently recruiting on behalf of one of my clients for a Manager to look after their repair and maintenance function on a national scale, working with the engineers to support them in keeping the network up and running at all times and fixing any issues in a timely manner. This is a hybrid role with some work from home and some work on-site, as such you would be expected to stay away multiple nights a week.
 
As a manager you will be responsible for supporting your engineers across the country remotely, as well as leading from the front on-site, to ensure that the network is up and running as soon as possible after issues. This work takes place countrywide on MOD sites, holiday parks and in student accommodations. You'll also be responsible for leading the team, managing them and assisting them with their own career development and KPIs.  
 
This position is extremely important, as you will be in a critical position to keep all customers connected when issues arise, leading a developed team, and hiring new engineers as this team grows.  
 
You'll have experience working within a repair and maintenance function as either a manager or supervisor, will be comfortable in customer-facing positions and will be happy to lead teams from the front.   
 
Requirements:
·Experience as a supervisor or manager of engineers in telecoms
·Experienced with Break-Fix models
·Availability to stay away through the week
·Full Clean UK Driving licence
