Carrington West are recruiting on behalf of a metering and data solutions provider with a unique position in the market. They are one of the only companies in the UK that focus on Industrial and Commercial metering UK wide, and are rapidly expanding their field-based workforce in the second half of 2020.
As a result, Carrington West are keen to speak to technicians with electrical metering experience in the London area to discuss long-term contract work.

Industry leading training will be offered for any successful candidates, including up-skilling to Three Phase (if required).
The work is purely in Industrial/Commercial settings and will start off as a Power Only position (Single and Three Phase), evolving into a Dual Fuel position in the future as this side of the business grows, this could also mean further training to Medium Pressure is arranged for the successful candidate

The rates for this position are competitive and include a day rate and appointment bonus along with company vehicle, fuel, tools and excellent training that could lead to increased earnings based on your skills and experience. Further information about the pay scale can be supplied upon request, but average weekly earnings range from £650-£900(Ltd/CIS), which can also be improved with overtime or out of hours work (optional).
 
 
Main responsibilities:
 
·Single and Three Phase meter installation/removal.
·Remote and on-site fault diagnosis/rectification
·Remote and on-site meter/equipment programming/reading, using various computer programs
·Planning and Installation of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS)
·Workload planning and appointment booking with customersAccurate completion and submission of paperwork.
·Meter reading, testing, and logger replacement as required.
·Stock planning and control to ensure availability of all equipment required to complete jobs
