Rate: £550 per day

The Role
As Design Manager, you'll take full accountability for ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of design solutions throughout the project lifecycle. You'll coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, manage external consultants, and work closely with technical, operational, and strategic stakeholders to deliver high-quality, fully compliant designs on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead and oversee design delivery from concept to completion, ensuring all work meets statutory, regulatory, and client requirements
·Manage external design consultants, ensuring contracts are adhered to and performance is maintained
·Direct and support multi-disciplinary teams, driving collaboration across in-house engineers, partner companies, and consultants
·Work in partnership with technical, operational, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of project solutions
About You
·At least 10 years' design management experience in the water sector
·Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or similar) with Chartered status
·Experience in both clean and waste water projects, including BIM integration
