Role: MECIA Design Lead - Water/ Wastewater Treatment
Pay: Up to £400 per day
Location: 2 per week minimum required in Preston Office split with home working.
Start: Immediate
Duration: On-going
Our Client, a leading MEICA water sector contractor are looking for a Lead Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer to work on Water/ Wastewater Treatment non-infrastructure projects.
Candidates must have experience in coordination of muliti-discipline engineers in the UK water sector.
 
The role will encompass:
·Delivery of complex and challenging projects.
·Preparing/managing the preparation of outline.
·Detailed and final engineering designs, in addition to providing construction support and commissioning input.
·Technical meetings with clients, coordinate inputs from other disciplines and supervise the work of junior staff.
·Deliver design programs on time and in budget
 
 
The successful candidate:
 
·Qualified mechanical engineer (preferably Chartered or working towards Chartership)
·Strong hands-on UK water/wastewater experience and knowledge of assets
·Strong commercial awareness
·Experience of delivering design projects to program
