Job description

Are you a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer seeking a new role with a top consultancy? Do you have a deep understanding of building services engineering and a desire to work on projects that drive advancements in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors?
 
A renowned consultancy firm are looking to grow their team based in Manchester.
 
They specialise in providing innovative solutions to blue-chip clients in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. As a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing the mechanical systems and critical infrastructure for these projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and optimise mechanical building services systems for pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.
·Design sustainable mechanical building services systems using skills in Revit, AutoCAD and IES-VE
·Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and transform them into practical and energy-efficient building services solutions.
·Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
·Participate in all phases of project development, from concept and design to implementation and commissioning.
·Continuously explore new technologies and methods to stay at the forefront of building services design.
 
Experience required:
 
·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
·Proven experience as a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciences projects in the UK
·Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and IES software.
·Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
·Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards is advantageous.
