I am working closely with my LPA client based in the South West as they seek an interim Landscape and Green Infrastructure Specialist on an initial 3-month contract - for their Climate & Place team.
 
Your main purpose in this role is to provide specialist landscape and green infrastructure advice including pre-application discussions, evaluating and negotiation of planning applications, scrutinising detailed schemes and overseeing the delivery of new facilities.
 
The role will involve some strategic input into the evidence base for the Local Plan and allocation of sites in the Local Plan.
 
You will work closely with partners across the Council area and will provide a key role in establishing the stewardship arrangements to support the diverse landscape character of the area.
 
The role is remote-based, although the LPA value office presence on a weekly basis if possible.

It would aid your application is you are a qualified Town Planner and you must have previous experience within a Landscape/Green Infrastructure role at a LPA.
