Role: Land Surveyor
Location: North Southampton
Salary: £25,000-36,000 + benefits
Employment: Full time permanent
 
 
Do you want to work for a growing high precision survey company who delivers projects both in the UK and overseas ?
 
You will be based from an office location on the North side of Southampton which offers on site parking and is located between Salisbury, Andover, Winchester and Southampton. Its easily commutable from any of these locations.
 
This vacancy is available due to organic growth of the company and an increase in work load due to continued project wins.  As a result there is a vacancy for a Land Surveyor to join the business.
 
You will be required to work from the office and away from home to deliver projects which typically take 2-4 days to complete including travel outside of the UK to countries such as Germany, France, Netherlands and Denmark. Surveyors will typically work on a rota system were they will work 2 week on 2 weeks off for travel ( please note this may change dependant on projects ).
 
In order to be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
 
- Full UK drivers license
- Previous land survey experience in topographical surveys and or site setting out
- If you had lazer scanning experience this would be advantageous but not essential
- Please note this role would suit a surveyor who are looking to develop their survey skill or an experienced surveyor looking to take on challenging projects working to a high level of accuracy.
 
Role responsibilities:
·You will be involved in delivering high precision topographical surveys which are typically with in 5MM accuracy which are typically attached to ports, docks, water ways and similar
·Delivering topographic surveys
·Site Setting out
·Lazer scanning
·Processing survey data

On offer is a salary of £25,000-£36,000 depending on experience, in addition to this you will also receive time in lieu and travel allowances for working abroad.
