Location: Midlands / Milton Keynes
Role: Land Surveyor
Salary: £24,000 - £33,500 + benefits + overtime + package
My client has a vacancy for an Intermediate or Senior Land / Topographical Surveyor to join their team from Stafford or Milton Keynes
In this role you will be working with an experienced team of surveyor, reporting into a survey manager. Depending on your background and experience you will be attached to either Construction, Road / Highways, Rail, Utility, building or water based projects.
In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have a proven track record of surveying. This could be anything from a UK based surveying degree / formal qualification through to practical survey industry experience.
Experience using at least one of the below equipment is essential:
Lecia - Total station
Lecia - Cyclone
3D Lazer Scanner
Trimble
GPR - Ground penetrating radar
AutoCAD or Pointcloud
Typically speaking surveyors will be given their own project to manager where they will be responsible for site surveying - topographical and or MBS Measured Building Surveyors depending on their experience.
As a result surveyors will operate in a site based capacity which will involve travel and stay away work nationwide. A normal week will include 1 day from the office or working from home to process survey data using autocad.
Salaries are negotiable dependant on skills and experience between:
£26,000 - £33,500 + benefits + overtime + benefits
