Junior Building Surveyor
Are you a qualified Building Surveyor experienced in the delivery at commercial contracts working collaboratively with internal team and external parties. If so, this Birmingham based role could be for you.
Who will you be joining?
You will be joining a private Consultancy who deliver work mainly in the education sector.
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
·Carry out and assist condition surveys of existing building stock to record condition and write follow-up report accordingly.
·Assist with creating tender packs including tender drawings, specification and scheduling of works, principal designer/ health and safety as required.
·Assist in the submission of tenders to contractors accordingly
·Assist in raising and issuing construction contracts
·Organise and attend pre-contract briefing visits with senior colleagues.
·Assist and carry out site inspections to assess the health & safety, whether the project is on - program, quality of work etc at site inspections and report accordingly to the client.
·Attend and participate relevant internal meetings.
What do you need?
Degree or equivalent in Building Surveying and "on the job" experience.
Progression to undertake APC.
