The Role
As part of our Security Transformation Programme at Heathrow airport we have some urgent requirements to fill three contract vacancies for experienced IT Project Support Engineer. The role will sit within the Cyber Security Team. We are seeking a candidate able to demonstrate a good level of coordination, who can easily adapt to working on different work streams with changing priorities.  The project will have at least 5 work-streams which will be delivered by different suppliers, the successful candidate must be comfortable managing diverse supplier styles and solving problems proactively.
 
Qualifications and experience
·Required to oversee the on site installation of IT delivery projects and site support
·Experience of installing IT devices is desirable such as access control, CCTV, building management systems, Display screens, structured cabling
·Ability to work alongside multiple contractors
·Ideally Aviation and airport experience
·Required CSCS or equivalent
·Work within agreed and published project processes and standards
·Manage Atkins suppliers ensuring that process is followed for the particular project(s) engaged upon.
·For each project engaged upon, assist with identifying future demands ensuring that resources/services are obtained to meet the demand.
·Produce regular reports and maintain folders for all projects as requested.
·Ensure the handover of projects to relevant departments is carried out smoothly, in a timely manner and that all "as fitted" documentation is accurately produced.
·Act as focal point for project co-ordination with planning-supervisors, construction managers & various airport clients where required.
·Work with all relevant groups within Heathrow in order to achieve full 'buy-in' and therefore an overall successful conclusion
·Instigate all necessary update meetings with Framework Partners and resolve any changes to the agreed cost plan and project timeline.
·Upon completion of the works, provide all necessary documentation to all interested parties to achieve on-going support of the new install.
