You'll be joining at a pivotal time, driving transformation in how compliance is managed, governed, and monitored across housing services.
The Role
·Lead the delivery of compliance-focused projects within the Housing Improvement Plan, ensuring they deliver measurable improvements and sustainable change.
·Redesign and improve compliance processes, policies, and systems to ensure they are embedded across all housing operations.
·Work collaboratively with service managers, contractors, and colleagues to strengthen accountability and improve performance.
·Develop and deliver project plans, risk registers, and change milestones, managing dependencies and ensuring benefits are realised.
·Drive improvements in data management and reporting, enabling better assurance, decision-making, and regulatory compliance.
·Support cultural and behavioural change, influencing staff at all levels and embedding compliance as a core part of service delivery.
·Provide senior leaders and governance boards with clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes, ensuring transparency with residents and regulators.
Key Requirements
·Significant experience of leading projects within a large, complex organisation.
·Strong background in change delivery, with the ability to design and implement new processes, policies, and ways of working.
·In-depth knowledge of social housing compliance requirements (e.g. fire, gas, electrical, water hygiene, lifts, asbestos).
·Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in service quality, safety, and compliance.
·Excellent stakeholder engagement and change management skills, with the ability to build credibility and drive cultural change.
·Strong project and programme management expertise, including planning, risk management, and benefits realisation.
·Clear and confident communicator, able to distil complex compliance issues into practical actions and accessible updates.
