Job description

Would you be interested to work for an independently owned multidisciplinary consultancy, of circa 550 staff, operating out of 18 offices? The team based in the surrounding areas of Bristol are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the new office on a permanent basis. There will still be flexibility with home working.
The Infrastructure Division have been busy winning and delivering work throughout the pandemic and are in the position to invest in new people and grow.
 
What you'll be responsible for
·Scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs and project coordination
·Upholding the quality and accuracy of deliverables
·Design and site meetings, site inspections and progress reporting
·Leading projects including budgetary control
·Preparing fee proposals
·Mentoring junior colleagues
· 
The attributes we expect you to bring to the role and company:
·A relevant qualification in civil engineering and several years consultancy experience
·Working knowledge of Section 104, 278 and 38 adoption procedures
·Experience of working with developers
·Working knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Microdrainage, Civil 3D, AutoTrack and Drawnet or similar packages
·Understanding of UK planning procedures and experience of providing technical support to secure planning approval
·Experience of securing technical approvals from highway and drainage authorities
·Self-motivated team player with good people skills
·Integrity and credibility. People want to work with you (customers and colleagues)
