My client are currently planning a FTTP build across the East of the country, connecting thousands of homes to a full fibre network. My client are looking for a HR & Payroll Ofifcer who will support the HR Manager with the effective implementation of all areas of HR and Payroll administration. This is an exciting time to be joining a fast growing company.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
·On boarding process and pre-employment checks and contract documentation.
·Act as first point of contact for employees and managers
·Oversee all occupational health referrals ensuring that referrals are in line with company policy/procedure and best practice.
·Managing change within the business such as maternity and paternity applications
·Assist in the development and maintenance of new policy and procedures as directed by the HR Manager.
·Review employment and working conditions
·Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
·Processing monthly payroll.
·Ensure all payments are made within deadlines set.
·Distribution of payslips and P45s via email.
·Dealing with payroll queries both internally and externally.
 
You must have previous experience with:
 
·Experience in a HR role.
·Experience of payroll systems (preferably Sage)
·working knowledge of PAYE legislation, tax, SSP and SMP/SPP.  
 
Qualifications:
·Level 3 CIPD fully qualified.
·Working towards Level 5 CIPD/Level 5 CIPD qualified.
 
**This role will be home based but will be expected to travel into the office if required**
