£500 per day Inside of IR35

Are you a Housing Development Manager experienced in taking new build housing projects from planning consent to construction completion?

If so this role could be for you!
 
Bristol based council with ambitious targets for growth in social housing stock and delivery in need of Housing Development Manager to support them in the identification and delivery on Housing projects.
 
In this role as well as managing Project Surveyors & Project Administrators you will take the lead on the following:
- Plan, promote, organise and deliver HRA project on time and budget in line with corporate strategy
- Secure planning consent for large complex residential developments
- Lead on contractor procurement ensuring best value achieved
- Monitor contractors in delivering quality within budgets and time lines
- Manage design and feasibility process
- Produce reports to be delivered to relevant stakeholders
- Create long term pipeline of development opportunities along with required investment
 
In order to secure this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Have previously held a Housing Delivery Manager role within a local authority or social housing provider
- Demonstrate understanding and experience in end to end delivery of housing development projects
- Show clear understanding of relevant external issues that may impact works
- Have effectively managed both internal and external teams
- Show a proven track record of delivery in terms of quality, budget and time scales
