Carrington West are recruiting for a local authority client of theirs based in Hampshire.
 
We are looking for an experienced Conservation and Heritage/Historic Environment Officer to join their Planning Department in the Heritage/Historic Environment Team. The role will be offered on an initial 3-month contract (Extensions likely). Due to the nature of this role, some site visits will be required so you must be able to commute to the district at times.
 
The focus will be entirely on Planning / listed building applications and enforcement across the district. 
 
Ideally, you will also need to be efficient in all usual software applications, IDOX/ Uniform Share-point /Arc GIS /Teams as well as a proactive can-do customer focussed attitude.
 
Carrington West Pay Rate - £40-45 per hour
