Job description

An urgent role has arisen for a Lead/Senior Planner to work with our clients growing projects team, in the highways sector.

The position requires a strong Planner who has demonstrable experience in the construction field, clearly understands roads, bridges and structures and is self-driving, confident and a team player.

The project itself is an extremely challenging one and not suitable for someone with just desktop planning/scheduling).

Previous Highways/Rail experience would be preferred but not explicitly required.

A fresh DBS and BPSS application will need to be completed so please brief candidates on this as a number have failed recently across different agencies which is time-wasting.

The role can be undertaken remotely with some travel expected to Birmingham on a potential weekly/fortnightly basis. It would be preferable that the successful candidate is within the Birmingham region to avoid lengthy travel requirements and other related travel issues.
