Job Title: Highways Site Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £45,000 plus car

Role Overview:
 
The Highways Site Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of highway projects. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to relevant regulations and standards. They will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and local authorities to achieve exceptional project outcomes.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
- Producing and reviewing permits for ground-breaking activities, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards.
- Conducting frequent reviews and checks to ensure the quality of work meets expectations.
- Managing the MAR Process and work specifications effectively.
- Issuing and controlling RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements).
- Performing Cat & Genny surveys and reviewing associated statistics.
- Controlling permits and managing the issuing process.
- Conducting site setting out activities.
- Overseeing document control procedures.
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualities:
- Experience in highways or civil & drainage engineering.
- Familiarity with CDM regulations and principal contractor duties.
- Understanding of National Highways specifications and expectations.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the industry.
- Valid UK Driving License.
