Highway Maintenance Engineer 
Are you an experienced Highway Engineer looking for a new challenge?
An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Engineer with experience in highways maintenance schemes to join a client in the home counties.
 
Key Responsibilities:
The Highway Engineering Team are looking for Highways Maintenance Engineers to help design and deliver a large number of highway maintenance schemes across the county for roads and footways. The workstreams include major carriageway maintenance, surface treatments, local structural repairs, carriageway patching, footway reconstruction and concrete treatments.
 
All schemes are designed through a Walk Talk Build (WTB) process, which the Project Engineers would manage and be part of, alongside our Term Maintenance Contractor, Ringway, and any other specialist contractors required. The Project Engineers are expected to see the schemes through from start to completion, including checking estimates and final accounts.
 
Typical no. of schemes per year is approx. 600, with a total budget of approx. £40m.
