An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Liaison Officer with experience in Communications and Public Engagement to join a client in Buckinghamshire. You will be responsible for responding to public enquiries related to works carried out on the public highway, liaising with the local community in regards to past, current and future highway projects and carrying out site inspections / visits when necessary.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £22 - £24 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate.  Flexible working arrangements / working from home opportunities are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Responding to public enquiries related to works carried out on the public highway
·Liaising and engaging with the local community on matters concerning highway maintenance, landscaping, cleansing, streetlighting and enforcement
·Carrying out site visits when required
·Ensuring all information and records are maintained to a high quality and are available for access at any time
