My client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Transport Planner to join their dynamic team in Reading. Key Responsibilities:
·Project Support: Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of transport projects, including traffic management, public transport planning, cycling and pedestrian infrastructure, and road safety.
·Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret transport data using various tools and software to support project development and decision-making processes.
·Report Preparation: Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and transport assessments in line with current regulations and guidelines.
·Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of transport projects.
·Modeling and Simulation: Utilize transport modeling software to simulate traffic flows, forecast future transport needs, and evaluate the impacts of proposed developments.
·Sustainability Focus: Contribute to the development of sustainable transport strategies that promote environmental sustainability and improve community well-being.
·Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transport planning activities comply with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
·Education: A recent degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field.
·Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce clear, concise reports.
·Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to a range of audiences.
