My client is a leading multi disciplinary provider of scientific services and are UKAS accredited for testing and inspecting. They are looking for a Graduate Asbestos / Environmental Consultant to join their rail team in North West London near Wembley. You will be assisting in the delivery of a range of services, initially being trained in asbestos, occupational hygiene monitoring and sampling disciplines.
 
Location: North London - Wembley
 
Salary: £22,500 starting salary + company vehicle Benefits and bonus  
 
Job role:
 
·Performing on site analysis, testing and site investigation
·Liaising with clients on progress and project delivery
·Sample analysis
·Writing reports from the site results
·In this role you will be approximately 70% site based and 30% office based.
 
My client would like existing competencies/ work experience in construction and rail industries but not essential
 
The clients office is in NW10 and they will only accept applicants that live in NW, UB, EN, WD, HA, W postcodes. Driving licence is essential as company vehicle will be supplied
 
This is a Monday - Friday day based role and weekend work will be required 1 in 4 weekend and will be paid at a time and a third. After the first 3 months you will then be required to work nights if needed.
 
 
Candidates must have:
 
·A formal scientific degree: Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Environmental Science, Forensic Science or Biology. Geography would be considered but must be supported by an A-level in Science.
·Full UK drivers license
·Must live in NW London in the following postcodes: NW, UB, EN, WD, HA, W postcodes due to travel.
·Existing competencies in construction and rail industries will be looked on favourably but not essential
