My client are the Tier 1 contractor for the local gas company. They have a wealth of experience in this area and are known for their highly successful projects and their excellent safety record. They are a multi utility contractor with a national presence. On this particular project they have had a relationship with their client for several years and are the backbone to all gas projects including Gas Mains replacements, reinforcements and diversions.
 
They have several offices across London, and you will be working out of the main office in East London. You will be looking after a team of site managers, ensuring they are working with their teams to give maximum site safety, excellent customer service and are compliant with company policies. You will also be working with all relevant stakeholders, attending meetings and working as a collective to complete the projects. You will be responsible for leading the standards for safety, efficiency and correct behaviours.
 
The ideal candidate will hold the following:
 
·SCO5 - Authorising engineer / Competent person for routine operations
·SCO4 Competent person for non-routine operations
·SCO2 - Authorised Engineer for permit to work for excavations
 
Ideally you will have previous gas supervisory experience, Project management experience and have promoted high safety standards and behaviours in a previous role. You will need to be a good communicator, with good written and verbal skills. You need a basic IT background and be used to using MS Office.
 
A Full UK Driving License is required.
