Gas & Legionella Quality Assurance Officer (Contracts Manager)
£34p/h Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)

What will you do?
1. Contract manage refurbishment and planned works that achieves agreed outcomes for the Council, customers, and stakeholders and that meet the Council's objectives and affordability targets by improving value for money.
2. Be accountable for appropriate project outcomes regarding feasibility studies, brief development, design, procurement, delivery, finance & budgeting, cost control and quality of work on the full range of construction and maintenance services and the provision of advice and contract management from feasibility study to final account of major works projects. Budget responsibility up to £8 million directly controlled capital expenditure through contracts.
3. Provide up-to-date building surveying and technical advice and guidance to the Major Works & Refurbishment Team, the Compliance Team, other sections of the council, members, and customers to ensure decisions and recommendations are appropriate and well informed.
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
·Previous work experience and able to demonstrate an understanding of Council policies.
·Well experienced in contract managing contractors.
