Job Advert: General Foreman/Foreman
 
Salary: £40,000-£43,000
 
We are currently seeking a General Foreman/Foreman to join our team. Reporting directly to the Sub-Agent/Site Manager, the Site Foreman will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures, and maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, social, and environmental control.
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 
·Ensure multiple work packages are suitably resourced in accordance with the programme to track daily activities and avoid project delays, driving best value.
·Deliver multiple work packages in compliance with group policies and procedures.
·Be the main point of contact for work packages and communicate effectively to ensure the client's needs are fully understood and delivered.
·Allocate responsibilities and duties for site operatives, check understanding and provide training as necessary.
·Understand and interpret the client's drawings, specification and industry standards to achieve the highest quality standards.
·Organize and monitor the work of sub-contractors and suppliers.
·Maintain accurate and appropriate records including completing and promptly returning end of shift reports, recording and reporting changes in scope of work and completing and promptly returning all receipts, GRNs, tickets.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
SSSTS, CSCS (Gold Card), CPCS Lift Supervisor/Banksman/Slinger, NRSWA Supervisor, and First Aid are essential.
NVQ Level 3/HNC, SSSTS, SEATS, and TWC are desirable.
Proven ability and experience delivering Civil Engineering work packages, with excellent engineering control.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Able to develop friendly and professional customer-focused relations with others.
Working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and relevant industry regulations.
