Role: Field / Site Operations Crew Leader - (Water)
Location: Grangemouth - Scotland
Salary: Starting rate of £29,000 - 35,000 Based on experience
Working week: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week and overtime.
Essential Criteria: Waste Water network Team Leader experience
My client has a vacancy for a Field / Site Operations Crew Leader - (Water) join their expanding operations attached to water sector projects covering Flow Monitoring and Asset Surveys.
The ideal candidate will have prior Team Leader experience working with clean water or waste water network operations in the Water sector.
Note transferable sectors if you have team leader experience ( managing 1-2 people for site operations) that can also be considered are Utilities such as Telecoms - Gas - Electric, environmental and construction, repair and maintenance (any sector) or similar industries.
Successful candidates will be a part of a 2 or 3-man team carrying out installation, calibration, and maintenance of Flow and Water Quality equipment throughout the UK. As a result prior experience of managing or working with a 2nd man, junior or team would be highly advantageous. The installation and maintenance work will require you to enter and work in confined spaces within the waste-water networks, therefore you will need to be physically fit.
Skills set we require for this position:
·Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately and annotate plans
·Excellent problem-solving and accurate record-keeping capabilities
·Demonstrable track record of reliability and flexibility
·Full UK driving licence
·Water experience is desirable not essential
This role will involve:
·Literate, numerate, and organized along with possessing a good work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
·The bulk of work is local / commutable and there may be the occasional need to stay away
·Be able to work flexible shift times and adapt to changing work schedules.
·Ideally have relevant field service experience, however, full training will be given to
·Candidates who bring practical skills and a good attitude.
The work is attached to Scottish Water. On occasion, there will be the requirement to undertake stay-away work.
£29,000 - £35,000 based on a 40 hour, Depending on experience for anyone that has water experience
