A fantastic new opportunity has just been opened for a Fibre Field Manager who will take on a lead role within our client's team in London.
 
My client is an exciting young Fibre Network supplier who supply ultra fast broadband to customers across London in the commercial market. They have been growing their large network across the city and are developing new plans to open up their network to a greater number of customers across the capital.
 
They are currently looking for a Field Manager to work on a large telecoms project. You will be responsible for a team of engineers who connect my clients customers to their Ultra-fast broadband network.
 
The role is based in Central London and you will be responsible for the organisation, H&S and management of the local Engineers.  
 
Key responsibilities:
·Field based training, coaching and development of staff - ensuring accreditations are met
·First Aid
·Review drawings and plans
·Ensure work is done to the best standards
·Ensure compliance is completed
·Liaise with Highways and Local authorities
·Take responsibility for actions towards damages to customer properties if any issues occur
·Weekly update meetings
·Site audits
·Vehicle management
·Managing contractors and field engineers
 
 
Experience and skills required:
·Experience in FTTP Installation
·Openreach PIA accredited - Desirable
·Strong knowledge of Fibre
·Previous experience in Telecoms with an ISP
·Understanding routing of fibre mapping from a PON and a point to point network
·Understanding of legislation and highways noticing
·NRSWA Streetworks - Supervisor
·SSSTS or SMSTS
·MS Office knowledge
·Full UK Driving License
