Looking for a long-term contract role as a fibre splicer?
 
My client has a 4 to 5 year contract with a major telecoms provider working across major cities in the midlands. They are working as a Tier 1 contractor to supply civil and fibre connections for the large city upgrade projects. My client are experts in the civil engineering and telecoms sectors and offer a great working environment and a lot of security. They provide you with works vehicles and equipment if required.
 
The company have a large site in the city of Nottingham, which is where you will be working. You will to be required to work outside of that area, making your daily commute manageable. They have an excellent support team and a well organised plan for the next 4/5 years to ensure they connect all the designated properties to the network.  
 
The ideal candidate needs to have experience in the telecoms sector. Openreach accreditations would be desirable. If you want to provide your own equipment and van then this can be an options. You will need to have at least 2 years' experience of Splicing on FTTP projects and hold a full valid UK Driving License.
