Role: Execute Phase Project Manager
Location: Split between Epsom office and home working, this is negotiable.
Duration: Initially 12 months, however the project is 3 years duration
Pay: Up to £72 per hour (inside of IR35)
 
Are you an experienced Project Manager from the Oil & Gas industry?
 
My client is looking for experienced Senior Project Managers to deliver execution phase projects involving low carbon molecules and onshore process plants, achieving project completions to stringent safety, time, quality, and budget constraints.
 
They have been using their traditional process industry skills for many years to reduce humankind's impact on the world's climate by employing low carbon plant such as:
 
Carbon Capture and Storage;
Low Carbon Hydrogen;
Onshore Process Plant;
Low Carbon Fuels and Chemicals (including Waste to Fuels).

Job Title: Execute Phase Project Manager

Objectives of Job:
 
To provide project leadership and management for the delivery of Low Carbon Molecules and Onshore Process Plant.
 
The candidate shall:
 
provide leadership in projects;
keep abreast of latest regulations and good practice;
represent the client in front of customers (including business development support, exploring client opportunities, pre-qualification meetings, bid clarification meetings)
contribution to business development and proposals;
ensure technical integrity of work being carried out by team by the use of their Integrated Management System, processes, procedures, rules, and standards;
manage budget and programme and to report on progress throughout projects;
implement improvements directed towards showing profitable operation, growth of business and the enhancement of the team's competence and performance.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
 
Role envisaged for candidate is to Represent the client throughout the proposal and project execution stages;
Providing leadership and management to ensure smooth project development and execution;
Management of changes needed to meet contract and project deliverables;
Continuing with the project leadership through construction, commissioning and start-up;
Acting as the key interface with clients with primary concern for the safe, on-budget and on-schedule execution of projects;
 
Leadership in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment in accordance with the clients Blue Book and related company processes and protocols;
Adherence to UK regulations and codes of practice;
Leading on integrity and compliance throughout project duration;
Supporting the Business organisation in the development of clear Scope Definition, Project Execution Strategy and other project deliverables, to ensure timely submission of high quality Proposals.
 
Key Requirements:
 
BEng, BSc, MEng, or MSc in a technical discipline;
Candidate shall be a CEng with a relevant institution;
Excellent project management experience gained in an EPC/EPCM environment servicing the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Petrochemicals industries;
A demonstrable track record of supporting or leading multi discipline engineering design and construction projects to successful delivery;
The role will include office work and extended periods at project locations;
Minimum of ten years experience in the Oil, Gas and Process Industries.
