An opportunity has arisen for an Engagement Officer with experience in Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications to join a client in London. You will be a key part of the team involved in a large public engagement exercise, which includes developing and delivering public realm orientated strategic programmes and communications. The role focusses on engagement with internal and external stakeholders as well as the general public, alongside supporting the team with technical administration tasks, report writing/publication and data analysis and presentation.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £300 - £350 per day - negotiable for the right candidate.  Flexible working arrangements / working from home opportunities are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
-Liaising and engaging with internal and external stakeholders as well as the general public on matters concerning highway improvements, public realm works, cycling/walking schemes and urban regeneration etc.
-Responding to public enquiries related to works carried out on the public highway 
-Carrying out workshops, public events, consultations and surveys to gather, analyse and present engagement data
-Developing and delivering long-term public realm orientated strategic programmes and communications
