Job description

An immediate requirement has arisen for an Engagement and Communications Consultant to join our clients expanding team within this award winning Transportation Consultancy.
 
2020 has been one of the busiest and successful years for our client and their Engagement team has continued to develop as part of this, being involved in some of the most exciting work in the business' history!

A bit about the role:
 
This role will work alongside the Senior Engagement Consultants to develop and implement effective engagement plans for our clients encouraging buy-in from a range of stakeholders. Day-to-day work will include:
·Drafting content for a number of channels including leaflets, web and social media
·Creating web pages and surveys for clients (don't worry we provide training)
·Supporting at events such as workshops and drop-in sessions (including logistics and group facilitation)
·Face-to-face engagement with residents, businesses and stakeholder groups to encourage scheme buy-in and gather feedback
·Ensuring that client brand guidelines are followed in content and design
·Liaising with printers, design companies and other third parties
·Responding to stakeholders' queries
·Ensuring that projects and actions are delivered on time 
 
A bit about you:  
 
·Have 1-2 years' experience working in either a consultation, engagement or communications environment
·Be able to draft engaging content for a variety of channels
·Be extremely organised and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
·Enthusiastic and can-do attitude
·Excellent written and verbal skills
·Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues
·Experience using Photoshop, InDesign and GIS (not essential)
