ELECTRICAL SERVICE ENGINEER PLANNED MAINTENANCE
Location: Milton Keynes
Employment: Permanent
Salary: £29,000 - £37,000+ Standby + Overtime + Benefits
Hours of work:37 per week

My Client has multiple vacancies for Electrical Service engineers to work on Water Treatment Works and Pumping Stations in the Milton Keynes area.

In this job as an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER you will be working in a "hands on" field service capacity covering approximately a 20 mile radius of your home location and you will need to live in or around the Milton Keynes area for this position.

The key responsibilities of the role will be to provide proactive and reactive maintenance cover to water treatment and pumping stations. On these sites you will work with equipment such as pumps, pipes, valves, electric motors, control panels, rotating screens, gear boxes and hydraulics. 

You will be attached to a team of engineering professionals who will support you in your training and development. As part of a structured career and development process you will be given on the job style training, industry recognised training and development where you can achieve formal engineering qualifications. In addition to this you will be given clear career path with a structured progression plan and the opportunity to move into managerial / supervisory roles.

To be suitable for the job you will need to meet all of the below role requirements 
Role Requirements: 
-Formal ELECTRICAL engineering qualifications such as HNC, HND apprenticeship, 18th edition, City & Guilds or similar
-Full drivers license 
-Previous engineering experience in a heavy engineering, process driven or manufacturing environment - if you have completed an apprenticeship but not worked as an engineer you would still be suitable for the job. Suitable industry experience would include - Manufacturing, pump, pump repair, pump service, production, water treatment, workshop, oil and gas, filtration, gear boxes, hydraulics any liquid process sector or similar.

-Have the ability to cover a 1 in 4 weekend on call standby rota

Please note water sector experience is NOT essential as full training is provided.

On offer is an attractive salary which is negotiable dependant on experience and will range from 

£29,000-£37000 Basic + Overtime + Standby (about £1000 per year) + Call out + Excellent Benefits which include private health care, pension +  company van 
Please note salaries of up for £35,000 are available for candidates who has worked in the water sector ( water treatment ) pumping or similar industry sectors.

You will work Monday - Friday on a day-based shift pattern similar to office hours.
