Job description

Are you a Site Supervisor looking for an outside of IR35 contract in the Rail industry?
 
Do you have proven experience of working in drainage on rail associated projects?
 
Rate: £150-180/ Day
Duration: 6 month rolling contract
Location:  East London
 
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of drainage tasks, delivering the core drainage maintenance regime and resolving drainage faults and work arising.
 
Requirements:
 
·Experience working on Rail projects
·Experience in managing budgets & work programs
·Experience of subcontractor management
·Civil Engineering Qualifications
·Personal Track Safety (PTS)
·Experience using Maximo
 
Responsibilities:
 
·To produce, implement and monitor works programmes to budget and within agreed timescales
·Produce costings for tasks ensuring costs are managed throughout the life cycle of each task
·Production of progress reports, risk assessments, task briefs, PGI`s and procuring materials and resources to enable the safe delivery of tasks
·Attend client facing meetings to provide resolutions for technical issues and progress reports
·Carry out site visits to ensure safe delivery of works
·Ensure all works are fully compliant and completed to current regulations and legislations, Certification/documentation is to be managed to demonstrate compliance
·Deliver the core drainage works PPM`s in a timely and cost-effective manner
·Ensure all asset information is updated in Maximo and PPM`s are closed out
·Ensuring access planning is submitted in line with the programme of works and submitted within set deadlines
·Ensure site resources are suitably trained and deemed competent in planned activities, this may include the organising of training and/or assessments
·Attend site in a 'hands on' capacity to support site teams with technical experience and practical knowledge and to carry out safety observations and PGI`s.
