Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
 
As the Service Manager (DM) you will act as the Lead Officer responsible for the delivery of the
Council's Development Management functions, which includes the delivery of an effective and efficient planning enforcement service.
You will act as a decision making officer, determining planning applications dealt with by more junior officer colleagues as appropriate in accordance with the scheme of delegation. You will also work with all Officers and take action, as appropriate, to ensure consistency of planning application decision making.
You will deputise for the Head of Planning and Building Control where necessary and appropriate.
 
Remote working for this role can be discussed upon application.

To be successful in this position you must be comfortable working from home and using Microsoft Teams/Zoom.
 
On offer is an hourly rate of around £60p/h depending on experience, so if applying please let me know your hourly/daily rate expectations.
