Design Technician
 
Our client is seeking a Design Technician to join their team in Manchester.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Highway Design or within a transport planning practice and have experience using software packages such as CORELDRAW and/or GIS.
 
Responsibilities of the role:
·To produce preliminary highway and junction design layouts using AutoCAD.
·The production of design drawings for car parks, bus stations, footways, and cycle routes.
·Knowledge of relevant standards (DMRB/ MfS / Local Transport Notes/ Traffic Signs Manual)
·Swept Path Analysis using AutoTrack
