Our client are seeking a  Crane Coordinator to support the lifting manager at Sellafield on a range of exciting projects.
 
To support the Lifting Manager in the execution of his duties, ensuring adequate manpower, plant, equipment and accessories are available in accordance with agreed programmes and
schedules.
 
Key Duties
 
·Ensure cranes are issued safely and effectively in accordance with the project EOTC procedure
·Ensure all EOTC checks are carried out before issue of the crane
·Ensure no other work groups are working in the crane-restricted Zone
·Ensure correct lifting documentation is in place before issuing the crane for use
·Ensure attendance at Lifting Operations Site Stakeholder meetings.
·Regular site walk-downs to ensure adherence to the EOTC procedure.
·Mandatory attendance at the project Plod
·Manage isolations of the cranes with the JV electrical department.
·Facilitate work when required within the crane exclusion zone (Crane maintenance activities)
·To liaise and coordinate the interface with other site personnel and team functions within the work areas ensuring sim ops are carried out safely and efficiently.
Essential Requirements
·CSCS Card
·Experience with a range of overhead cranes
