Our client is an industry leading civil engineering contractor with a major presence in the rail industry. Due to an increase in work, they require a Clerk of Works to join the delivery team and support them on a major rail enhancement project in Newquay.

As the Clerk of Works, you will monitor and supervise the civils activities to ensure they comply with approved designs, specifications and contract agreements. Other responsibilities will include overseeing the civils works from a commercials aspect such as monitoring the programme and costs of the project.  

This will suit an knowledgeable Clerk of Works with proven experience working on civils projects and an excellent understanding of all commercial aspects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Clerk of Works on civils projects, ideally within rail.
• Valid PTS
• Full UK driving license
• PC literate - including Microsoft package.
