Location: Cardiff Office
I'm excited to share a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a well-established company at their Cardiff office. They're looking for someone with strong proficiency in Civil 3D, who can confidently deliver engineering solutions across a range of infrastructure projects. This role will see you working on everything from site development to drainage and road design, with an emphasis on using cutting-edge technology to create high-quality designs.
What You'll Be Doing:
·Applying your Civil 3D expertise to design and draft technical plans for a variety of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and earthworks.
·Working closely with senior engineers to develop both conceptual and detailed designs, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the projects you're involved in.
·Collaborating across disciplines to produce integrated designs, ensuring all elements come together smoothly.
·Taking the lead on producing reports and calculations, as well as assisting with the preparation of proposals and cost estimates for clients.
·Conducting site visits and inspections to assess progress and provide on-the-ground technical support.
·Creating 3D models and visual presentations for client meetings, helping to bring your designs to life.
What We're Looking For:
·A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
·Extensive experience using Civil 3D for design and modelling purposes.
·A solid background in civil engineering design, particularly in road and drainage projects.
·A strong understanding of UK engineering standards, regulations, and best practices.
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
·Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
·A proactive and collaborative team player, able to contribute effectively to a growing engineering team.
