Are you an experienced Highway/Civil Engineer looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Highway/Civil Engineer, with experience in tunnels and with a mechanical and electrical background to join a busy client in Kent. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £40 - £45 per hour. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Key Experience needed:
·Demonstrable ability to apply practical/procedural/organisational/policy knowledge in highway engineering design and can turn theory into practical solutions.  
·Experience of working in a Drainage or similar highway position including using design packages such as AutoCAD.
·Experience of working with a local government or similar environment to provide demonstrable understanding of the services provided.
·Project budget management
·Experience in site supervision of projects including managing contractors
·In depth knowledge of developing and producing detailed designs for traffic management, highway and civil engineering schemes   
·Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations  
·Demonstrable experience of administration of contracts under NEC conditions  
 
About You:
