Are you a CAD Technician with experience working on highways structures?

Our client is an ambitious local authority who are seeking a CAD Technician with experience in highway structures.
 

Your key responsibilities:
 
·The preparation of technical design drawings / models and contract documents, to ensure the implementation of structures maintenance, projects, and improvements within published programmes and budgets.
 
·The collection, assessment and impartment of information that is essential to the successful scheme preparation and implementation process to include liaison with outside bodies and contractors.  
 
·The preparation of estimates for the purpose of budget assessment and monitoring.
 
·To liaise with relevant bodies (i.e. contractors, statutory undertakers etc.) and visit site to assist in providing solutions to construction issues.  
 
·Give due consideration to Health and Safety and sustainability in identifying design solutions.  
 

What is required?
 
·As the successful candidate, you will be a proficient CAD user, with experience in highway structures
