Our client is looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their growing team in Guildford.
 
The principal duties of the role will be producing primarily transport and highways drawings to support project design development and planning applications. The position will also involve client, co-professional and design team liaison.
 
All CAD Technicians are encouraged and assisted to progress their training towards Engineering Technician status, and both on the job training and development and external training will be provided.
 
Desired Skills, Experience & Requirements:
 
Proficient in CAD drawings of highways and junctions with experience in applying DMRB, Manual for Streets and Local Authority standards and design guidance.
 
Swept path analysis and vehicle tracking
 
Production of drawings in AutoCAD
 
Proficient in the use of AutoTrack, PDS Sign and PDS Line (or similar software)
 
Good written and spoken communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
 
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
