Location: Basingstoke/Glasgow/Hybrid
Salary: £32k to £40k doe

Your role as a Business Data Analyst
Working as a Data Analyst across our Telecoms contracts we are looking for someone who has a passion for collaborating with various stakeholders; working with systems, data and has a clear understanding of the value this provides to solve real-world business problems.
Key Responsibilities of a Business Data Analyst
·Delivering regular, timely and actionable insight to the team and senior stakeholders making data recommendations
·Using analytical expertise to challenge opinions when necessary
·Performing analytical deep dives on business issues to identify drivers and trends, extract insight from data
·Undertaking complex analytical queries using statistical methodology and tools
·Understand business unit requirements and create/improve business processes using tools such as Visio and O365
·Support in the implementation/development of works management systems across various contracts
·Using visual management aids for developing dashboards using Power BI/Tableau within a fast-paced change focussed environment
·Managing and prioritising an evolving workload, communicating effectively with team members to ensure on time delivery and reduce duplication across teams
 
To be a successful Business Data Analyst we need from you
·Comfortable working in an operational database environment and within an environment of significant business change 
·Experience using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate and other O365 tools is essential
·Confidently build and present meaningful data visualisations, in Excel/Sheets and a dashboarding platform such as Power BI
·Able to document and version control your work so others can pick up and build on it
·Experience of working in a fast-paced environment where prioritisation is required
·A Project Management Qualification with previous demonstratable experience in delivery Projects to time, quality and cost would be beneficial
