Job description

We're working with a respected and expanding surveying practice that prides itself on quality over quantity. This role is perfect for a Building Surveyor who enjoys in-depth surveys, professional development, and a supportive environment.

The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Building Surveyor to focus on Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Full Building Surveys. You won't be burdened with multiple surveys per day - the emphasis is on accuracy, client service, and thorough reporting.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct Level 2 and Level 3 surveys on a variety of residential and commercial properties.
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports with recommendations and cost estimates for repairs or improvements.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on property condition, repairs, and compliance.
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure their needs are fully understood and met.
  • (Advantageous) Prepare Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations.

What We're Looking For:

  • MRICS, AssocRICS, or FRICS qualified (essential)
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and professional approach to your work.
