Building Control Surveyor
£45p/h Umbrella Rate (flexible dependant on Qualification)
Initial 6 Months (Inside IR35)
Tameside - Manchester - Hybrid
 
Would you like to work as a part of a highly motivated Local Authority team of true Building Control experts and professionals in Greater Manchester.
 
 
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
 
·Conducting technical reviews of building control submissions
·Preparing and issuing Plan Check Reports and Certificates
·Attending meetings and liaising with clients, design teams, architects, and contractors
·Conducting site visits and inspections with reports and follow up measures put in place
·Identify Business Development Opportunities
·Mentoring more junior members of staff to assist in their development
 
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
 
·Professionally qualified with chartered status - MRICS MCABE MBEng or equivalent
or
·Minimum 3 years' experience in building control
·Clear and demonstratable knowledge of building standards and legislation
