Building Control Manager

Who will you be joining?
A highly motivated Local Authority based in Staffordshire. You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and key meetings. The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
 
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
·Conducting technical reviews of building control submissions
·Preparing and issuing Plan Check Reports and Certificates
·Attending meetings and liaising with clients, design teams, architects, and contractors
·Conducting site visits and inspections with reports and follow up measures put in place
·Identify Business Development Opportunities
·Day to day management and organisation of the Building Control team.
 
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
 
·Professionally qualified with chartered status - MRICS MCABE MBEng or equivalent
·Minimum 5 years' experience in Building Control ideally in a management position
·Clear and demonstratable knowledge of building standards and legislation
